Cook County Works and Bank of America are working together on more Financial Literacy Workshops in March. These financial literacy workshops, designed to help people do more with less, are another aspect of the comprehensive services that Cook County Works provides to Cook County residents. These events review how to set priorities, look at problem areas, and establish a practical spending and savings plan.

About the Workshops

The workshops, which began in November 2011, have helped dozens of residents from throughout the west and south suburbs to take advantage of training sessions that cover topics such as: financial literacy, budgeting and money management after a financial setback as well as employment skills training.
