Affordable Housing Website Launched - Upcoming Event on Affordable Housing Today, the Bureau of Economic Development rolled out their new website geared towards affordable housing in Cook County, IL. Highlights of the website include the work of the Department of Planning and Development and their work with the Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP)  and HOME Programs.  The website outlines guidelines for homeowners, income requirements, housing counseling centers and frequently asked questions. A section is specifically geared towards homes for sale under the NSP Program in suburban Cook County.  It is broken down by neighborhoods and gives information on realtors and lenders.
